In a world where transport plays a significant role in economic activity as well as the movement of goods and people, professional driving skills are becoming a necessity. However, getting this ability isn’t inexpensive. You have to be aware of a range of costs, such as the cost of training and the exam. In the Netherlands, the cost of getting Code 95 can be as high as 3000 euros. Fortunately, the expenses associated with getting this certificate are lower in Poland where they can be as low as 1500-2000 PLN.
In Europe truck drivers must possess a Code 95 Certificate to drive trucks that weigh more than 7.5 tonnes. The certificate is valid for 5 years and must be added to the driver’s license category C or C+E. It is also possible to add it to the C1 or C1E license which permits the driver to drive lighter trailer combinations.
You must pass a psychological test and an examination for medical reasons to earn the Code 95 Certificate. After completing the course, you will be issued a plastic Code 95 certificate that can be added to your driving licence. The course price includes a medical exam, PKZ service and payment for the plastic Code 95 Certificate.
The cost of a Code 95 Certificate is the same as other types of driving course. It is also important to note that the course must be conducted at a CBR-approved school for driving. Trainers must follow strict CBR protocols. Trainers must immediately notify the CBR if, for example, a student is absent.
After the course, the participant must go to the Road Traffic Safety Directorate to apply for a new licence. The deadline to replace the license is six months from the date the course was completed. This requirement is to ensure that a driver has the necessary knowledge and competency for driving a heavy-duty vehicle. The driver should also know how to read the speed limits and kilometer signs posted on the road.
Training options
Code 95 is a sign on a driving license that you have completed the training requirements to drive trucks and buses professionally. It is possible to spread the course over a five-year time frame. Your employer may provide the course.
There are two kinds of training available for Code 95: the long course and the short course. The long course lasts about four weeks in length and culminates with a government exam. After passing the exam you will receive an electronic card. The card must be submitted to the unification of the European certificate database. The institution where you took your classes will submit it to the database. It takes 14 days to process the card.
The cost of the lengthy course is approximately 2,000 PLN, and the examination costs 300 PLN. You will also have to pay a fee to the school to submit your certificate to the unifying European database. After the card is created, you can pick it up from the school.
As a trainer, you must follow the guidelines to be able to offer a course that issues Code 95. First, you must submit a plan of training to the CBR. This plan must be endorsed by the CBR prior to classes begin. You will also have to adhere to other strict guidelines throughout the course of training.
After you have successfully completed the training, you will receive a certificate of regular training from the CBR. Then, you can send it to the RDW. You will then be able renew your license at the municipality after submitting successfully. If you do not renew your license before the expiry date, you will not be able to drive professionally for more than 12 hours a week. If you want to drive for more than 12 hours a week, you will need to complete a new training course.
